Good drinks and even better friends, happy birthday to my shmick, Jess.
I’ll be up extremely late tonight trying to make up for my past week of laziness and all the work I should have been doing. I can’t wait for summer… so excited! 8 days!
Also- I really think I’m going to just commit on studying abroad next spring. I think the fact that I look at schools in England every single day online is a sign that if I don’t do it, it’ll be one of those lifelong regrets.
Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica.

I’m in love with this bag for spring/summer. It may be my belated birthday gift to myself if I do well again this semester. And once I’m home I cannot wait to read this book:

My addiction has become my roommates as well. Loves it.
Birthday flowers from Mom and Dad!
With only 1 week left of classes, 4 finals, and a total of 12 days actually here at school, it’s no wonder that it is extremely hard to keep focused. I rather be drinking a Jack and diet sitting on a sandy towel at Jones beach tanning. I am so excited for summer, but for reasons I never appreciated until now. I’m excited to be able to do whatever I want whenever I want without the burden of papers homework and tests. I can’t wait to wake up early, wake up late, love the sunshine and even the rain because sometimes rainy days are much needed during the summer. I miss my family & friends, and I miss all the little things… including starbucks since the nearest one to my school is an hour away, which may seem unheard of. But yeah, I miss my 6 shots of espresso over ice every morning and I miss the Rafferty household and L’s room. I miss day drinking and beerbq’s. School is stressful and it really took a toll on me this semester… I didn’t have time to workout the way I did for the past 3 semesters, I didn’t have as much time to myself, time to go out. I can’t complain- I chose to be a biology major and the first few years are packed with unnecessary shit like organic chemistry. But it’s almost over! And I’m taking it easy next semester (or what seems ‘easy’ compared to now). On the contrary, this semester was full of fun and exciting new experiences and friendships, all of which I appreciate so much. Spring break in Italy is pretty self explanatory. I also realized now that I want to travel… not just saying it anymore. I’ve always said I want to go everywhere… but it wasn’t until I flew to Italy that I realized how accessible the world is. Everywhere is a plane ride away, and the world is literally waiting.
This was a pretty sappy post… starting things off on a serious note but you know it won’t last.
All I think about is Rome.
